Marketmommies:  Tell Us About Your Blog.

Katie:  The blog is called Masters of Multitasking (M.O.M)….. kudos the M.O.Ms who manage it all.  Our blog honors all things M.O.M! Moms are continuing to manage it all and this is definitely the place to celebrate them and what they have accomplished. Resources and tips from one M.O.Mpreneur to another!

Marketmommies:  What inspired you to start your blog.
Katie:  I get asked a lot ‘how did you…’, ‘what did you do…’, ‘can you help me….’  And I am all about sharing the wealth and knowledge to my fellow ‘preneurs’ because we are all in this together and trying to accomplish the same goals of becoming ‘a brand’ so I thought maybe I could start this M.O.M blog that will help guide and feature what thoughts go on in head to answer the ‘hows’, ‘what’s’ and can you’s’!!

Marketmommies:   How does you blog compliment your business?
Katie:  Actually I think the blog compliments my business very well.  It showcases my main ‘feature’ of being a Momprenuer… The Ultimate M.O.M.    I also get to promote my business directly in another social media outlet and while I think about the next post to feature, it gets my ‘creative’ juices flowing and reminds me what I need to do next and revisit something that worked so I don’t lose focus.

Marketmommies:  What are your goals for your blog?
Katie:  The goals for the blog are to explore what I am doing and being successful at within my own parameters of being a Mompreneur and hope that it inspires and drives others to try the same approaches and become successful as well.   I want it be a great resource for any M.O.M.  To showcase and feature other successful M.O.Mpreneurs and Celeb M.O.Ms with inspiring stories that will encourage us all to stick with your dreams and that no dream is too Big.

Marketmommies:   Where do you see your blog in a year from now? 5 years from now?

  Katie:  I hope to see our blog as a well visited, used and source for an abundant of knowledge when it comes to being a ‘Master of Multitasking’ Mom.  I’m not claiming to ‘be all knowing’ but as I travel down my own journey of M.O.M hood I hope in a year there will be a ton of content, comments, and success stories to share.  Maybe in 5years, I have a team of contributors and fellow M.O.Ms with more amazing successes to feature.

Marketmommies:  What personally do you get out of blogging?
Katie:  You know, I really didn’t understand ‘blogging’or have an understanding of why it would work for me, but now that I started the blog, it is pure therapy!  It keeps me on track with own company focus and direction and when I get comments and feedback on how my post helped or guided someone, it really makes me feel accomplished and that I’ve succeeded because they have succeeded.

Marketmommies:  Tell Us about your business.
Katie:  My business and company is Kt Steppers, llc (www.ktsteppers.com).  I am mom-owned and founded.  I hand paint and design personalized steppers (or step stools).   I branch out with other children’s furniture, but our feature product is the Cricket Stepper.

Katie:  My family… ahhhh, my pride and joy!  I have two amazing boys (ages 5 &3) and a supportive and inspiring husband to help guide me.
