Marketmommies:  Tell us about yourself:
Alissa:  I am the 23 year old Stay at Home Mom to Molly who was born on 9-10-09, I like to think she is advanced for her age, but doesn't every parent? I love to look for deals (I don't shop unless I have a coupon (or 10) and I am trying to find new ways to work from home. I am not successful, yet, but I am going to keep trying. I have to put my MBA and Marketing degrees to use somehow!

Marketmommies:  How did you become a Mommy Blogger?
Alissa:
I was inspired by Heir to Blair (www.theheirtoblair.com) and started documenting Molly's Milestones on my blog. As time passed, I started blogging daily about our life.
Marketmommies:  What is your blog about?
Alissa:
My life with Molly and everything that goes along with that. I talk about babies, baby products, Mommy stuff, weight loss....nothing is off limits
Marketmommies:   Hindsight being 20/20 is there anything you would have done differently in starting your blog?
Alissa:  I would have started blogging when I was pregnant and kept up with it better when Molly was born. I wish I had documented my thoughts/feelings from back then.
Marketmommies:  Any advice for moms trying to get a blog up and running?
Alissa:  Write from your heart, don't censor anything. Spend time reading others blogs and commenting on them. I spend about an hour every day finding new blogs to comment on and follow, I find it attracts more followers to my blog and I enjoy reading others blogs.
Marketmommies:  Tell us about your family:
Alissa:   I have been married to my "after high school" sweetheart for 2 years as of May 31st of this year, we have a dog named Shelby and our little girl, Molly.

Marketmommies:   What did you do before you were a mommy blogger?
Alissa:  Read other blogs/message boards a lot, plus I worked full time so that kept me pretty occupied.
Marketmommies:  Where do you see your blog in a year from now???
Alissa:
Molly will be 18 months old in a year, and I can see me writing all about the crazy funny things she's doing/saying. I can't wait to see how life unfolds for us.
